mkraid
mkraid [options] devices
System administration command. Set up RAID array devices as defined in the /etc/raidtab configuration file. mkraid can be used to initialize a new array or upgrade older RAID device
Options
Use file instead of /etc/raidtab.
Initialize the devices used to create the RAID array even if they currently have data.
Print a usage message and then exit.
Upgrade an older array to the current kernel's RAID version. Preserve data on the old array.
Print version information and then exit.
