Get the Inside Scoop on the Mozilla Project

by Derrick Story
08/04/2000

You've probably read the WSP Open Letter, or maybe Monty Manley's What Went Wrong With Mozilla in Linux Today, or even the rant by Greg Knauss, Before the Body's Cold at suck.com -- but if you want to hear the other side of the story from the guys actually doing the work, register now for the Second Mozilla Developer Meeting on August 18.

Be sure to RSVP to reserve your space and a free T-shirt.

The all day Developer Meeting is conveniently scheduled to follow on the heels of the LinuxWorld Conference (Aug. 14-17) held in San Jose, CA. So after the big show, just hop over to the Netscape Campus in Mountainview. You'll even get a free lunch and an outstanding T-shirt if you pre-register by dropping a note to mozilla@alphanumerica.com.

The doors open at 9:30 a.m. at Building 25, and the schedule for the day includes talks on Mozilla gaming, the editor, skin design, and even embedding Mozilla in other applications. The general sessions conclude at 4 p.m. followed by a reception that lasts until 6 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Alphanumerica, and if you'd like more information or to see images from the first developer meeting, be sure to visit their event page. And if you're not sure how to get to the Netscape Campus, take a look at these handy directions.
