Oktay Altunergil

Biography

Oktay Altunergil works for a national web hosting company as a developer concentrating on web applications on the Unix platform. There he also has the opportunity to work on interesting projects involving Jabber, LTSP, and other free software solutions.

When he's not riding his motorcycle, he spends his time doing development, system administration, and system design work as a consultant. He is also an active free software supporter running nonprofit projects such as the Free Linux CD Project, Turk-PHP.com, and OzgurYazilim.org (Turkish for "free software").

Oktay holds a degree in business administration as well as a master's degree in computer information systems.
